CSI Research Fellow Receives International Myeloma Society (IMS) and Paula and Rodger Riney Foundation Career Development Award

 

Congratulations to Dr. Teoh Phaik Ju, Research Fellow from Prof. Chng Wee Joo’s lab, who has recently been awarded the prestigious International Myeloma Society (IMS) and Paula and Rodger Riney Foundation Career Development Award for her outstanding research proposal.

This award is part of IMS’ new initiatives to foster academic career development of young scientists pursuing research in the field of plasma cell disorders and to promote the development of the next generation of leaders in this field. The IMS Career Development Award will also encourage interactions between institutions to enhance collaborative research. Moving forward, the award will fund Dr. Teoh’s work on a myeloma project with collaborators from the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Massachusetts.
