Make A Contribution

Cancer poses a significant global health challenge, with over 35 million new cases expected by 2050, a 77% increase from 2022, according to the World Health Organization (WHO). Addressing this pressing issue requires improved prognostic and therapeutic tools.

At CSI Singapore, our researchers are driven by one core motivation โ€“ to embark on critical, life-saving research aimed at changing the course of cancer diagnosis and treatment in the near future.

Professor Ashok Venkitaraman, Director of the Cancer Science Institute of Singapore (CSI Singapore), as well as NUS Centre for Cancer Research (N2CR) at NUS Medicine said, โ€œThere has been a revolutionary understanding in the fundamental biology of cancer cells over the past two decades, and it is vital that cancer research efforts continue and even accelerate, to herald a new era of ground-breaking discoveries in the area of cancer for current and future generations.โ€
