Abstract

Led by Prof. Soo Chin Lee, together with a team of researchers including Prof. Boon Cher Goh, this randomized clinical trial examined over 9,000 women in Singapore aged 50–69 who were overdue for mammography. The study found that a simple mailed reminder was as effective as more complex behavioural interventions in improving screening uptake, demonstrating how pragmatic, cost-effective approaches can meaningfully enhance breast cancer screening.
