Magnetic-Activated (MACS) Cell Sorter

AutoMACS:

• Fully automated magnetic separator (MACS Sorter) using Microbeads and isolation kits
• Able to separate PBMCs, cultured cells and dissociated tissue more accurately
• Both labelled and non-labelled cells are obtained and can be used for downstream applications
• Sort into 5 ml, 15 ml and 50 ml tubes with cell viability being ensured using Chill Racks

Booking Policy

• The minimum notice period for cell sorting is 24 hours (office hour time slots). Please notify us via EMAIL for urgent access to the cell sorter.
• Users will receive a notification when the booking is approved.
• All usage of the cell analysers/cell sorters is chargeable. (Refer to Facility Charges)
• Charging begins at the start time of your booking, regardless of punctuality. For cell analysis, charging ends at the booked end time. For cell sorting, charging will continue until the actual end time if the service extends beyond the booking period.

Cancellation Policy

• Users can cancel bookings on cell analysers through the PPMS booking system before the slot begins.
• Once the booking for sorting is confirmed, users need to inform the facility staff to cancel the booking.
