Scope and Topics

The course is aimed at life scientists who have already produced RNA-seq data, or are planning to perform RNA-seq experiments and want to learn the best practice to analyze these type of data. It will consist of 1 hours of theoretical lessons and 3 hours of practical exercises.

Participants will gain practical experience and skills to be able to:

• Align RNA-seq data to a reference genome
• Estimate known gene and transcript expression
• Perform differential expression analysis
• Visualize and summarize the output of RNA-seq analyses
